  • What can be ground now? Advice welcome :)

    Hi peeps,

Well its Mid Dec, and Im wondering what can go in the ground now?

I put in 82 Garlic cloves on 24th October, and the 27 that came from Fresh stock from Morrisons are already up 3-4" but the remainer that came from last years growing stock, are still in the ground, so I'm hoping come the spring, then will also come up.

But I have now dug over all my beds, got rid of any weeds that were left over from last year, and have a fresh bed ready for planting, but wondering if there is anything that can currently go in now, once the ground isnt frosted over?

    All advice welcome please!

    Stuart

PS. Check out my blog, been doing some updates to it!!!

An atheist is someone who denies altogether the existence of God. I'm an agnostic. An agnostic is someone who believes that there can be no proof of the existence of God, but does not deny the possibility that God exists.

Apart from fruit trees and bushes I know of nothing that can be planted in the middle of winter.

I've still got a few ball headed spring cabbage to plant out, but for the time being they are probably better off in the cold greenhouse, where they will stay until we get rid of this permafrost!

I have some Kale seeds which apparantly, according to the back of the packet can go over all year round, included winter months.

        *shrug* no idea though!
