  • What can follow on from beetroot?

    Hi there,

I've got a small raised bed that's half carrots and half beetroots. The carrots have a way to go yet, but I'm harvesting beetroots every couple of days now.

This has left me with a few gaps where beetroot used to be. I was thinking that maybe I could sow something in the gaps as they emerge, but I'm not sure what would be an appropriate crop.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

    Thanks
    Rob

You could go for salad leaves or radishes, something that is short term so it doesn't wreck your crop rotation plan.

Hmmmm... I hadn't thought about doing something short term. That's a pretty good idea though. Might try the radishes.

      Thanks for the suggestion!
