wondering if there are any really fast maturing broccoli seeds that i would get a crop from this year?

There's one on the Real Seeds website which I grew last year which is supposed to be a quick heading variety - can't remember how quick though. I do remember some forming heads and some just forming lots of shoots like PSB - weird thing it was - but tasty

Kings seeds (see link below) sell a variety called Spike on their web site where they advise
Annual Purple Sprouting Broccoli. Plants will crop four to five months after sowing, harvesting spears over many weeks.

there were some given away with the magazine last year, I think it was called Raab? And I think it said ready in 80 days... might be out by a letter or number though, haven't got the pack to hand

Broccoli Raab available from Real Seeds and others. Two types 40 day and 60 day. Marshalls seeds (I think) have a new one called Brokali which they say is ready in 6 weeks.History teaches us that history teaches us nothing. - HegelComment

Plenty of choice on broccoli for this year. The Raab is usually ready in about 60 days. But any (other than the PSB type) will be ready autumn time at the latest.
