    i bough some earligold and orion f1 sweetcorn seeds off ebay, and erm they are pink and red ..... is confused ???

    They are coated in fungicides etc to stop them from rotting when planted.

            ok, so best plant em in modules then, don't want anything to eat em .... mind you most of last years went manky in the soil, so maybe these will be better??

            i was panicking i'd bought weird red and pink corn ....... and i can't do pink

              Have you seen Tammy's method for sweetcorn. I'm going to try it this year.

              2 sheets of kitchen roll, fold in half so you've got a really long length. Put one seed on one end [about 2 inches in, and roll up. Pop a seed every roll until you get to the end [of course depends on the number you are sowing]. Put into a plastic bag and moisten the kitchen roll. Stand up and wait until they germinate and then you can unroll and put into the modules/loo roll inners/root trainers.

                oh that sounds good, i have 80 seeds lol (think i might save some till next year though).... i may give that a try thanks xx
