    When is the best time to water spuds morning or evening

    Morning. Water the ground not the foliage. If you do it in the morning then the humidity drops more quickly which is less likely to encourage the blight.

      I don't have time in the mornings, so it has to be evening, but I only have a few growing in bags so it's not a problem

          5.30 am.. before it gets hot.... but have a furtle first for a pound or two for dinner.

            If you're growing your potatoes in buckets/boxes like I am you might need to water twice a day when its really hot.
            Location....East Midlands.
