Guy's what's the best plan for volunteer tatties? I've noticed some coming up where they were planted last season. However, this is where I had planned to plant my brassica's this year. Should I just dig 'em up and bin them?l

If they are in the wrong place, you just have to be cruel & dig them out.

Cheers Mally, had a feeling it was going to have to be this. By the way, carrot seed tape doing reasonably well, about 75% success. Beetroot seed tape just popping through now and just starting to consider swede tape. Weather has been dreadful up here.

Just plant around them and have them as new potatoes

I'd love to but my garden is pretty restrictive i.e not very big. I only have room for 5 cabbage plants and 5 brussel's plants plus I have to find room for swede's. I also already have Charlotte's growing very near the brassica patch and in between this I wanted dwarf French beans. It is a patch under development and I have to steal ground an inch at a time so as the wife doesn't notice
