My friend/next door neighbour is an even bigger newbie than me and asked me to water her greenhouse whilst on holiday, I couldn't help chuckling when I entered what can only be described as day of the triffids meets the twilight zone!!! Her courgettes were huge edging on marrows and hidden under some leaves was an 18" cucumber with a bulbous end very similar in another type of end, seriously made my eyes water lol
