Could we have a jam section too? provided we use our own produce as the main ingredient?

Is there any point to a preserves class? You can't taste them, so what would you vote on?

And extra poultry categories won't happen until we get more folks entering them - ONE plate of eggs?! There'll a be a few of this year's categories cut for next year too I think - No entries for 'Scarecrow', one entry for 'Plate of Salad', only a couple of entries for 'Tallest Sunflower' for example. It takes too long to set everything up for half of them to stay mostly empty

I am surprised that I was the only egg plate. Shame if it went as it is such a good idea but agree it needs more than one entry.

That's because once you know yours isn't beating the one already entered, you don't enter. Except I did, because I wanted to show off my school's sunflowers

I'm putting a digital camera on my wish list, but even if I'd had one I don't think I had very much to enter this year. Maybe a camera and the thought of entering the show will spur me on for the next growing season!
