    Hi all

I'm new here so hi :-)

My OH and I have an allotment, third year and it seems to be going well our allotment was overgrown, brambley and weedy when we first got it 3 years ago, and that was April so all we did that year was clear a patch and put in potatoes (and a couple of courgette plants). Last year we had cleared about 2/3 of the allotment and grew lots, more, and this year pretty much the whole thing! All the usuals, potatoes, onions, garlic, beans, beans, beans, brassica's. My favourites are the squashes - got Sunburst, butternut and hubbard. And we're trying Sweet Potato this year so looking foward to seeing how that goes.

Anyway, I have a question which I hope someone may be able to answer....
In the attached picture, what is the vegetable bottom left? A colleague has been given one that her husbands colleague works with, and grew, and we don't know what it is , so of course I want to know so I can grow one!

    Thanks in advance!

Patty Pan Summer Squash. I quite like 'em... courgette, basically

Edit, now I actually clicked the picture it could be a winter squash, but I haven't seen any that shaped, so still going with patty pan.

Thanks, like my sunburst squash's then, apart from they're bright yellow. They're courgetty too.
I hadn't actually seen the veg she's got, she just showed me this pic. I did wonder if it was a squash.
      Thank you

Looks like patty pan squash, I've grown them for 2 years, Green Button, but looks just like it.
