| My guess would be cold chill or possibly the pot was to big for the plant. If there is too much soil around a seedling, when you water the pot it will react with the soil giving off amonia which will kill the roots of the plant.

| Blackitty, when potting on any small plants just pot them into a pot one or two sizes bigger than those the plants are already in, that way the plant will gradually get used to inhabiting a bigger pot rather than the shock of being pot into a bigger pot too quickly. |

but the other two seemed fine, but today have suddenly gone limp and one is definitely departed, no longer with us, pushing up the daisies etc. Any ideas why and how I stop it happening to my other cucumber seedlings?
