Hi,
I dug up some carrots yesterday and noticed that a few had spit - most prob due to inconsistent watering over dry spell - but inside the carrots where the split had occurred i eventually noticed that there were minutely ultra thin orange worm like creatures living. they are about 1/2 millimeter in diameter, though 1 1/2 inch long.
These creatures are far far thinner than millipedes & are definitely not wireworms either as again far far to thin and long.
Does anyone know of what these are?
i'll get an image hopefully soon of them. Though ideally would like to know how best to nullify them once I can establish what they are, though cant find anything on the net to identify them.
