  • Tops off potato plants

Well, i decided to be more vigilant with weeds this year, so was weeding one of my potato beds, and didn't realise the tops of the plants were just about to come through. Unfortunately i took the top off 2 of the plants... Will i still get potatoes? Will the seed potatoes send up new shoots?
    Thanks
    Becky

They'll send up some more leaves, don't worry .... just try stopping them!

Potatoes have been known to grow through concrete......where there's a will, there's a way. As TS says.........just try stoppin em!

Potatoes just WANT to grow, they'll have no problems sending new shoots up.

Mine got frosted off (in mid May folks!) last year but new shoots came through. It just meant my first earlies weren't!
