  • which tomato's with no acid

I love tomato's very much but can only eat plum tomato's ,because of the acid, last year I grew mini plum and they were good
are there any new developments or other types that don't have acid

As I understand it, the yellow and orange ones have less acid. You don't mention the reason you can't eat acid but here's a brief note from Simpson's seeds who grow a variety of colours

the reason is the acid affects my joints really badly, I don't have joint problems though at this time, that's why I need to avoid them

My mum finds cherry tomatoes the worst for her acid reflux and gets on best with beef steak ones. I think the ratio of flesh to seed helps as larger ones have less gel which seems to cause her most problems.

Yes, it the seeds and gel that are the acidy bit. I'm fine with all of the tom when they're cooked, but if my tum is playing up, I remove the seeds from any I'm eating raw.

Tomato sweetness is judged by the Brix test and Sungold always seems to do exceptionally well.
Acidity seems to be judged separately ...I spotted this whilst looking up about the Brix test....

Most people love them. Personally I don't think they taste like tomatoes, far too sweet, they almost set my teeth on edge.

Those two are probably super plants, the other ones could take a few days longer,I would wait & see, mine come up at different times, not sure of how many days,I'd give them another week though just to be sure.
