Hi CJ welcome to the vine

I'm only growing a couple of varieties compared to some here

    German red strawberry
    sun gold
    Indian moon
    indigo apple
    tumbling Tom red
    gardeners delighted
    Black Russian
    brown sugar
    blond boar
    black + brown boar
    dark Galaxy
    buffalo horn

I usually grow them because I like the name not because they are suited to a particular job. I use what ever's ripe for whatever I happen to be making.

    Sungold (10), Pink Charmer(6), Gardeners Delight(5) and Ananas Noire(1).

    Number of plants in brackets.

These are my 4 favourites. Other varieties that i have grown in the past i have found to be quite tasteless and so i have been doing a process of elimination over the last few years. These are the ones i'm left with.

I have a bad habit, I look through my seed box and think "yes i love that one" "oh, yes that's delicious" and "ooooh, I didn't sow that last year"
