I remember one of mine doing exactly this last year. I think it was a Gardeners Delight. I think i just left it.

None have split this year but I had 3 that split last year, I left one alone and pinched out the other two. but in future I'll be leaving the plants alone.

I'm leaving mine too. I often grow two stems so they've saved me the job.

Of no use whatsoever!

But surely wouldn't be of any detriment to the plant!

I had a few that forked last year. I left them, but found them difficult to maintain in an orderly shape.
Only had one that's forked this year, but pinched it out.

Well for me, I think this year is a return run! (Obviously correlated to the olymics.)I should think 50% are forking - all varieties. It is almost as if the plants can't grow quick enough.

I'll be pinching all mine out once I'm sure that they are both strong and healthy. I had a few odd one sin the past that forked but then didn't like the responsibility of being the leader.

I've found that on previous occasions. I let them both grow and stop one if its weak or after its set a truss if it's higher up.

Some of mine doing it too..I leave them at it and just try to keep them tidy

Mine seem to be flowering very soon after forking.
