  • Tomato 'Peardrop' question

Hi I have a quick question for anyone who's grown 'Peardrop' tomatoes (sorry, I can't remember who it was on here that recommended them). How big are the plants, I have large hanging baskets that I usually grow one 'Tumbler' in. Are they as bis as these, or should I put two in? Also, do they cascade like 'Tumbler', or are they more compact and upright?

    Thanks for your help!

I've never grown them but if you plant a tomato plant in a basket or pot - rule of thumb is 1 per pot only, they are really thirsty plants and need the room.

They trail - the weight of the fruit makes them hang over, and I only put 1 in when I grew them in a hanging basket. Nowadays I grow them in a supermarket flower bucket.
