I know many of you have grown this grape tomato, so can you tell me if it is a slow starter? I expect it to be a small plant, but it is making very slow progress compared to my other varieties.

I've not grown it for a couple of seasons, but I don't recollect it being slow to get started, although I remember thinking it a bit of a thug with its enormous trusses and needs a bit more space than usual. -
In that case I wonder if I've bought some duff seed. They are really tiny seedlings and not putting on nearly as much growth as the others. It's very much a case of "how far away are they?"

I usually plant fairly tight at around 17- 18’’ both ways but for Ildy I’d go more for 2’Comment
