Could anybody tell a 1st time home veg grower how much ventilation should tomato plants get during the day.I have a plastic greenhouse with a 60lt growbag with 3 plants in it.All 3 plants seem fine 1ft high with signs of tiny flowers appearing. Two 'shirleys' and 1 'gardeners delight'.As you can tell by the details,a novice has posted this but i've been bitten by the bug and can do with the advice. Cheers!

I open windows/panels equivalent to an area at least a third of the floor area of the whole greenhouse - more if it's hot, don't know why, must of read it somewhere!
Jiving on down to the beach to see the blue and the gray, seems to be all and it's rosy-it's a beautiful day!

I ventilate as much as possible during the day, but make sure it's closed up at night.

Mine are in my lean-to which is south facing and gets very hot during the day. My rule is if I am in I have the window & door open unless its raining. Always closed at night

As the others say, give as much ventilation as possible during the day unless there's a howling gale. ventilation allows pollinating insects into the greenhouse and helps prevent some disease problems.

If you've got steam and/or condensation inside your greenhouse: you need to ventilate
