Like I say then all you have to do is bob some drainage holes in and away you go, you will find people here use them for allsorts of things.

What does everyone use them for ? I have a couple but never use them, think mum gave me plants from garden in them.
Didn't think they'd be big enough as container veg growing.

                          I use them for.

My cordon tomatoes, runner beans, new potatoes, and any spare cauli's I have at one per bucket. When they split at the top edge I cut them down to about 6" high and use them for radish, I have 4 of these for successional sowings.

Do you put one runner in each?

I havnt done spuds this yr. usually use old compost bags anyway.
I have plenty pots same size I never use unless potting on shrub cuttings (from parents garden)
I think I may be using more this yr. thanks
