  • Today I tried

    Just a thought. In the past few days I have tried a couple of new things. Broad bean tops (steamed) - lovely, similar to spinach. Today my first ever radish seed pod - lovely, juicy, crunchy and radishy.

    Anyone else tried something a bit different?

    I put some Oca leaves into my salad yesterday - a bit lemony, like sorrel

      Not me, but No1 son and I gave my husband the first gooseberry of the year to see how ripe it was as neither of us was brave enough! From the facial expression that resulted we reckon they need a bit longer.
