Mine are a quarter of that size and I've been eyeing them up. You have quite some restraint, there!

My first time with cukes H and I hope they are as good as yours, they're only just beginning to flower. Do they toughen up or anything if they get too big? Like the others, I couldn't have waited as long as you have and would have eaten it before now!

                    Lol

All I have have done is put 2 baby plants which I grew from seed into a trough like pot, and watered them , also with the odd drop of tomato feed. I have made them strong with the canes but the creepers are past that now and are wrapping around my window blind lol.
I've kept them indoors on the window sill.
I dont really know what I have done to make them so big lol.
                    Maybe beginners luck

It isn't necessarily going to taste any better for being bigger. In fact it might taste worse as the seeds inside it will be getting bigger as it tries to make more cukes!

Go on H, do it now and you can tell us what it tastes like. In fact you could tell us before you make the sandwich if you take a bite out of it.
