Default Three sisters advice

I have just bought my veg / herbs for the year.

I have a new book that discusses the use of three sisters as a technique of growing that i would like to try.

I tried to grow sweetcorn last year but it went a it wrong so I think I ill try a two sisters variety with:

Tomato Gardener's Delight above Radish Ilka
&
Pea Feltham First above Parsnips

Does anyone foresee any problems with this approach.

Any ideas welcome

P.S please see my other posting for my (hopefully)interesting experiment:
Herbs

Hello MLocke, quite a few of us are trying a 3 sisters approach with corn, beans and squash this year. I gather it didn't work for you before but if you want to try again you could join in with us. I think the original idea was to check how far north corn could be grown successfully. Where are you located. You can edit your profile and put a location on which will show on your posts.

Would peas be a reasonable substitute? They might not grow as high runner beans, but I would reckon that they can still benefit from using sweetcorn as twiggy sticks
