  • Are these things any good?

Light Weight Herb Patio Planters 2 Pack £13.95

Stewarts Strawberry & Herbs Pot 52cm Cotto

I have the makings of quite a decent herb gaden this year, Oregano and Rosemary already purchased, and seeds for Thyme and several Basils and a coriander or two.
I don't really have the room to grow them in a herb bed and really would like them quite near the kitchen dor for convenience.
Has anyone out there used either of these type of product, and if so what do you think?

I don't know if they are any good but at that price I wouldn't get them.
go to wilkinsons and tou can get 2 packs of three for a fiver, also potato bags and strawberry bags which look almost identical.
don't be afraid to innovate and try new things

I used these as an example as I couldn't think how to describe them properly, but I agree price wise they are a bit steep. thanks for the Tip.

Even T&M's stackable pot/hanging basket is cheaper than that! A local garden centre has those strawberry planters in for £9.99.

I know theyve been used for years but I bought a cheap one like the first one and I found the strawberries on the side pockets did very poorly.

I used to have one similar to the second link and found the herbs soon dried out in those little cup things unless they were long rooted.

Have a look in poundland or B&M.......they have the plastic stackers, 3 pots per stack if that makes sense. £1 each. Ideal for herbs or strawbs.

I just group terracotta pots round the back door with my herb plants in. Very decorative and handy.
