    Hi
I grew these last year and am doing them again this year. I grew them upright with a cane to support, not sure if this is the correct way but it worked for me. The growbag may not be deep enough. You could cut the bottom out of a large pot and put that in the growbag to add more depth.

I grew them 2 years ago there very easy to grow give them something to climb up, plenty of water but as they start to ripen reduce the water so the flavour is better. Try putting 2 grow bag's together one on top of the other with the top cut out of one and the bottom out of the other, this will give them plenty of room for there root's. Have a look at this site, it tell's you how to grow melon's. Hope it help's.

You'll be fine, there's nothing to it...the insect's will help you if your not bothered about saving seeds.
I only hand pollinate if I want to make sure nothing else pollinates my plant's and if I want to seed save, then I cover the flower in a paper bag to make sure nothing else get's to it.
I forgot to mention don't take the side shoot's out the plant will bush and find it's own way, just give it something to climb up and it'll be happy.
