    Sweet n neat cherry tomato

    Shouldn't now be the time to be seeing tomatoes growing?

    I sow a few seeds in Feb this year and they growing fine and healthy but I've noticed that no flowers have opened yet.

    Hmm, I would certainly expect to be seeing flowers and baby fruits by now, athough I haven't grown this particular variety. Have you been feeding them a lot? If so it is possible that they are producing a lot of leaf instead of flowers and fruit, so I would stop the feed for a bit and see if that does the trick.

    The other possibility, with bush tomatoes (which I think these are) is that they produce a lot of foliage and the flowers may be hidden inside (my balconi plants are a bit like that). If so its possible you and the insects haven't seen the flowers and they have fallen off having not been pollinated. Are your plants indoors or outdoors? Some types of tomato don't seem to set fruit indoors - I've had this problem with Bajaja and Sweet Aperitif, but they did have plenty of flowers and they do produce fruit outdoors.

      I am growing it indoors. I can see the flower bits but it's just not opening.

      At first I was not feeding it until I seen flowers but there is none. So then I started feeding once a week to see if anything is happening but still nothing.

      I know this tomato plant can be grown inside.

        Has it been pollinated?
        Feed the soil, not the plants.
        (helps if you have cluckies)

            Maybe try stop feeding them to stress them slightly?

            I grew that variety last year, brilliant cropper for me but taste was dissapointing.

            I would grow them again though as they made amazing pasta sauce.

              I've just binned a 5ft tall tomato plant with not 1 flower on it and rest of tomatoes are now well established wonder if it was down to position in greenhouse as it was behind 5 others.
