  • sulphur candles

hi all,is it wise to get all my pots etc stacked up in my greenhouse and blast it all with a sulphur candle?

Trouble is if you stack your pots then the fumes from the sulphur candle won't be able to get to all the surfaces. I find the best thing with pots is to give them a wash with hot soapy water, specially if they are plastic pots this generally enough to clean / sterilise them.

I hate doing the washing too!

Don't do what I did though... I put all of my pots through the dish washer
The pots came out like new.

But the dishwasher blade thingy's gritted up.
When they spun sounded like they were grating

Bob Flowerdew and Charles Dowding both argue that you dont need to wash pots unless you have had disease if you hate wasing them that much! ;D
