  • stupid potato question

my mind is a complete blank about this so apologies for the thickness of it.

Can i grow different varieties of potatoes in the same bed or should they all be in different ones

i have really large beds for them but dont have enough seed pots to fill them

In South America where they are native, the plants are often mixed in a field. They are happy to grow up to 20 varieties in a field - it helps against disease. When something strikes there are usually some types that succumb to it and some that still do well. Avoiding having all eggs in one basket.
