  • Still Raining

Hi there, again its raining in Brum, so we can only check on the lottie as its to wet to do anything else.

We go up, pick some veg and feed the birds, turn around and come home, it all looks so sad and desolate at this time of year.

We are very lucky as we are on a slope at the top so don't get flooded like the middle plots.

We are bored with all this rain and itching to get started.

Still never mind, next year is only round the corner, and lets be fair the weather can't be any worse or wetter than this year.

Happy New Year to you all.

Same here and I think we are all in the same boat pretty much. HNY to you too.
BTW don't get despondent! Get a seed catalogue instead!

I don't think I've ever known a year with so much rain and dark skies.

I had flu last few days barely and left my bed as I collapsed on Christmas day and then boxing day so finally emerged from my pit today then came downstairs looked outside and...... it just went dark and started sleet and hail.

I went back up to my pit and decided to forget the rest of the year as well and come out on new years day.

Yep, sun is forecast for Sunday, will take a stroll up the lottie.

Been looking through the catalogues, don't like the new Dobies one, hate those sort, much prefer their old one.

Been through our seed tins to check what we have got, perused what will go where next year, still bored, dark mornings, dark days and dark nights.

Thank goodness the days will be getting longer from now on.
