Starting off with mushrooms

Hi there,

Am wanting to begin a mushroom bed/box and have so far got some spawn from on line. The whole horfse manure/compost prerparation seems to be a project in itself and as we have a mushroom farm within 2 miles, I have the idea of using a couple of bags of mushroom compose from them. Has anyone any history of using this method and if so, is it ok?
