Hi. I was hoping for a little bit of advise on what summer squash to grow. I have jumbo pink banana and spaghetti which i grew last year and will be doing them again this year and fancied summer ones too. I was hoping to find somewhere that sold a selection but i haven't so far. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Idealy it will be prolific and/or easy and not take up too much room as i only have my garden to grow them in. Thanks in advance, jemma

Recently the GYO mag were giving away samples of yellow scallop, what about them? I'm sure I saw some people swapping them in the seed swap forum. -

thanks have some of the swaps that one of them had requested so fingers crossed. I have brought a couple of types from premier seeds just wish they did a mixed pack as i really don't need the quantity they sell them in.Comment

I don't think that you can go far wrong with normal courgettes in the summer, I've been growing Striato d'Napoli from Real Seeds for a few years now and am impressed by it's compact nature which doesn't seem to reduce yield.
