Apart from trying random garden centres there are 2 local places which may help you.

The Monmouth Garden centre sells separates and I think I got vales emerald from there last year, but not the others.

Dundry nurseries have the biggest range I know of (in Staverton). Their website says what they have in stock.

I may be popping in on 10th or 11th Feb. If I do go I could get you some if they have what you want. They're usually 20p per tuber or they do 1kg or 2.5kg for a better value pack.

I get my spuds from Dundrys every year, it's Dundrys that can't supply this year..............they're running out of spuds fast so be quick if you want to get your potatoes from there

Was doing my order at DT Brown Seeds. They have Jelly in stock and Vales Sovereign if that helps.

I got an invite to a local potato day and the list given was just your boring run of the mill spud varieties! Very disappointing!

Thanks all for your help. I'm a bit of a miser in that I don't want to pay postage on top of inflated prices so big companies are pretty much out. I've resigned myself to no Balmoral this year (crop failure) and I really should have been more on the ball with the rest of my wants. Anyway, with the help of the reallly nice man at Dyndry's I got his last 3 kg of Cara and we're trying Accord and Premiere for 1st earlies

Jelly is a variety that I might be able to get here in Slovakia. So I'd be interested to know what you particularly like about it?

                          Hi Zelenina
It was my daughter who grew Jelly. She had really good yields from it and didn't get much in the way of eelworm or scab (although she did pop a few slug pellets in the hole when planting). Also she was unaffected by blight. It's a variety that you can do pretty much anything with and it does make amazing roast potatoes and chips. Nice yellow flesh and quite large oval tubers. Hope this helps
