Default sprouts?

Is it to late to start sprouts from seed this year?

In any normal year I would say yes, but with everything being thrown into the melting pot due to June being such a poor month weather wise, you might get away with it - especially if you choose a variety that matures later (or should that be early next year).
Normally you would be planting out young plants now, but if you can sow the seeds now in modules and keep them inside in the heat, you might, just might get away with it.

If you don't want to sow seed, try your local markets for young plants.

Hello Devon - Surfer, and welcome to the Vine. I would think it was a bit late to grow sprouts from seed, but given that you are in Devon, and the best of the weather is yet to come (we hope) you might manage it. It's only a few seeds. Why not give it a try.
