Default Spring-planted garlic veriety?

Here we go again.....it's that time of year again when I remember we've forgotten to order any garlic!

Tried Solent Wight last year and that was quite good. We also are going to plant the 'scapes' from last years garlic into modules and see how that goes.

So what spring-planted variety would you recommend?

Hi SBP,

I have only ever planted autumn ones as they tend to give a better yield size wise and they are bought from France every year. Solent wight which you have tried always seems to be popular.
