  • Spring has Sprung

Yip yip, hazzah, hurrah, yip yip -wahoo - yip yip - mwa hahahahahaha

    and indeed

    Ahem.

I sowed some 'control' tomato seeds outdoors a few weeks back, so that when they germinate they are firstly ready hardened off and secondly, a sign that it is getting warmer at night.

The first one is up this morning....Amish Paste - one of my faves. A nice purply tinge to the stem as well....

    Sorry, just had to share.

Share away I have been seen with my bum in the air for days now trying to spot new things coming through and BAM it must have been happening right under my nose - my Red Duke of York early tatties have appeared!

      I love Spring!!!

Spring has sprung...takes deep breath, crosses fingers, toes, eyes, you name it, it's crossed. Seedings survived air frost a week ago in greenhouse and got some charlottes through. Peas and broadies raring to go but being cautious till another warmer spell so I don't waste last 3 weeks work.

A friend in Somerset is planting out but we're usually 2-3 weeks behind so I'm trying to relax, chill out and wait....not my strongest point...lol
