Spring Greens - recommendations required

I have only planted cabbage once, especially for spring greens. It was marketed as "Flower of Spring" Cabbage and I must say I was very pleased with it. Now I am inclined to plant any cabbage seed I have left over and see how it does

I grow Offenham Flower of Spring every year. It's lovely.
Very hardy with large conical heads carried on short stems. For cutting in spring - maturing time approx 36 weeks from sowing. Dobies: Cabbage Offenham 2 - Flower of Spring Seeds: Plants with short stems.

Hi guys,

Forgive my ignorance - what do you mean by spring greens? Do you just cut cabbage leaves before they form a head (as baby leaves)?

yes, Norazina, exactly that. you plant them closer together too.

Hi - another vote here for Offenham. I've just sown some this morning. July is the usual recommended month - just squeaked in then!
