    Spotty pumpkins

    Hi there
    My little boy is growing pumpkins and I noticed today they have a few yellow spots on the leaves, any ideas? Also, they are 6 - 8 weeks old and although there are a few flowers there are no pumpkin lumps. Is this normal?

    A picture would help with a diagnosis.

    Check these images out and see if anything looks similar, be warned though, it's like looking in a medical dictionary; you suddenly think you've got the symptoms for everything!

    If it sounds fancy and world-ending, you probably don't have that one.
    If all else fails, leave it and see how it progresses over the next few days, if it doesn't get worse, no worries!

      Twiggy- peasticks - is the pumpkin looking ill, or just has some marks on the leaves and otherwise looks healthy? It is quite common for the male flowers to appear before the female flowers (with the baby pumpkin behind the flower part) show up.

      Ollie that wiki gardener you have put together is astounding! You have put so much work into it - but it is all there! You are so talented.

        Thanks for your replies, hmm I'm not sure it looks like any of the photos I won't be able to get up to the lottie until Tuesday, so I'll take a pic and post it.
