| Hi All I have just planted some Spinach but wondered if they should be covered. i have put up some plastic fencing around them( its the bright orange stuff you see on the side off the road when road works are taken place), if that enough see picture 09062008027.jpg on Flickr - Photo Sharing! I know it makes it look likes a building site but this was a nice cheap option: and no I did not take from the side of the road ![]()

| I've only grown the perpetual spinach variety but always had good germination, its a large robust seed that does well. It won't require covering. Its very tasty too!! ![]()

| Ok - The variety is Long Standing Spinach so I am hoping it will do very well.
