  • sowing outdoor plants indoors...

some on this forum have advocated growing pretty much everything in modules and planting out later, and I have decided to go this route. Some of my seed though only have outdoor planting information. If I want to sow them in modules, do I sow at the same time as they suggest to outdoors, or can i get the jump on the growth by sowing them a little earlier (2 weeks? 4 weeks?)

They are in a biggish conservatory... I figure it's like an unheated greenhouse (well it has a radiator but it doesn't work very well) or cold frame.

What seeds are you (specifically) on about?

As Ts says it depends what exactly. You can get away with some now but others you are better of waiting a bit

A lot of the problems with sowing early is not just the lack heat its the lack of light. So as 2Sheds has asked you need to be more specific in order for people to help.
