I remember last year having already picked some aubs and sweet peppers from my outdor plants by this stage. This year we seem to be falling well short.
The plants looked stunted for about 8 weeks until we had some real warm weather a couple of weeks ago. They now look a decent size but only a couple of ruit on about 30 plants. The peppers all seem to have plenty of buds but no real flowers and the aubs have a few flowers that just seem to fall off at the first oppurtunity.
Is it too late to hope for a harvest late August/September?
Mind you I have got to also say that my outdoor tomato plants seem to be all flowers and no fruit this year too. The plant looks wonderfully healthy but no flaming fruit.
Can we blame the weather or is it just not my year.
