    Small black spots & yellow leaves on potatoes

    I am growing seed potatoes in containers and all was going well until small black spots appeared on the leaves. The leaves are now going yellow and floppy. Does anyone know why this is happening and if I can do something to stop it.

    What type are they? (Maincrop, first/second earlies?) When did you plant them?

    Depending on the type, and how long they've been in they could be ready to lift... as they're in containers have you had a rummage around to feel for any tubers?
