  • Slimy Stuff

I've emptied two daleks today and got heaps of beautiful, beautiful compost (hark at me waxing lyrical about compost), but there's also a good bit of slimy stuff that's not completely rotted yet. I've put some back into the bins, but there's still some out on a veg bed. Will it be ok just to cover it over where it is, or do I have to shovel it into the bins?

Can you just bury it in the veg bed?

It's a bit of a faff but I always riddle my compost to get two distinct types with different uses. The fine stuff that passes through the sieve goes into a potting mix and the coarse stuff, including partly rotted, either goes as a mulch or is dug in where the beans are going.
