Raised or edged beds, call them what you like

Thought it might be useful to show the many ways in which they can be built - shape, size, materials, heights, etc

Post your photos for us all to see please
A few words about how they were constructed may inspire others to do the same.

Think mine are classified as edged, made out of any wood I can lay my hands on

My main veg beds consist of two areas 2m x 4.5m. This year I have made them into raised beds by using 2.4m x 150 x 25mm gravel boards with 3"x 3" fence posts cut down to 2' long at each corner and midway. Ideal! Stops the soil from spilling onto the paths and does away with the raised centre of the bed due to adding manure, compost, etc over the years! (I know what I mean!)

Mine are lazy raised beds, just mounded up, no carpentry involved.

Are they self adhesive or do you have to lick 'em?.............1st class or 2nd?......

Mine are just 4ft wide beds with quarry tile paths surrounded by netting to keep out the cats.
