  • Shallot's starting to bolt!

Now I have grown "Shallot's" before! But "Autumn" last year, after most of the building n infrastructure put in play on the relatively new "Lottie" I made a firm decision to "nuture" the soil for what crops were going where!

All in all! Sorted! really "Chuffed" with the way it as presided!

But the shallots have now started to run to seed!

Do I nip em out? Can ya use em as "Scapes" like garlic? Or do I just let em run, fall over n harvest?

    Cheers for any guidance!

Some of mine are bolting too so I'm pulling the individual bolted shallot from the clump and using it in cooking. Hoping the rest of the clump will grow on normally.
