Is there a self-help group for people who can't stop buying packets of seeds?

I just went through my seed box and I have 98 packets, and that's just the vegetables AND after I gave away all packets two or more years old.

The new season is months away and I just know there'll be loads of bargains that I won't be able to resist. If anyone knows of a support group where I could perhaps talk through my addiction I'd appreciate details.

I know what you mean, SC!
I think the only way of dealing with it is to join the seed swap parcels!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Yes there is - it's called the vine, but it doesn't actually stop you buying seeds - just makes you realise you're not alone

It's nice to know I'm in the company of other addicts. I tried putting seed catalogues straight in the recycling bin before opening them but then discovered some wonderful online suppliers who are invariably cheaper so it means I buy even more.

Oh, woe is me. What's a poor gardener to do.

I know what you mean Marion, i have drawers labelled jan to dec and i still cannot fit them all in.

one of my neighbours on my lottie sells seeds and he showed me some of his stock that i could take for free (i had to hold myself back and only took 10 packets) his overflow stock he showed me was in 4 boxes, positively seed porn, a bit of seed overload, i was shaking and in the end i had to tell myself "step away from the seeds". by the time i was able to drag myself away i was a bit of a dribbling mess, not a good look on a woman of slightly more maturer years

Same here, and every year I make a promise to myself not to buy too many seeds and every year, guess what.....

Yep, another seedaholic here. I've started storing them in the fridge at work.
