            Since Christmas I've sown

Lettuce Lollo Rossa and Little Gem
            Spinach Bloomsdale
            Chervil
            Pea Onward (for pea shoots)
            Broccoli early purple
            Pak choi tri colour mix

All of the above in my utility room, intended for eating as baby leaves in salads. All except the lettuce little gem have germinated and been moved to the grow light garden.

It's very frustrating for me as I've nowhere to grow on seedlings where it's light and/or warm enough...however, having said that I do have 24 Espelette chillies germinating on top of the radiator!

Today I sowed some alpine strawberries, early cauliflowers, mixed salad greens and hollyhocks. They are on a little table by the patio doors in the sun.

Not sown anything yet but did my seed inventory this weekend and am going to be making newspaper pots for my chillis, peppers and aubergines this evening ready to sow in the heated propogator which is now in place in the utility room.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I've sown a second pot each of mustard and cress (first lot eaten) - it's so much tastier than supermarket "salad cress" which is actually rape seed.

I'm sowing nothing for outside until February. I'm not. Really, I'm not. I'm going to sellotape up the seed tin as a deterrent. My windowsills shall be bare (apart from houseplants). I mean it. Really.
