  • Scotch bonnet seeds

    Hi

I have some scotch bonnets and would like to grow some plants from them. Should I dry the seeds out first before sowing? Also, do they need to be sown in doors?

    Thank you in advance,
    Sophie

Not sure about drying the seeds - I think you can sow straight from the fruit. They definitely need to be raised indoors, though, as warm as you can manage - many chillies need a temperature of 22-25C in order to germinate.

Sow them fresh - I've some Tescos SB growing quite nicely.
