  • saving tomatillo seed

My tomatillo plants have finally managed to produce one tomatillo that grew large enough to fall off the bush (so I'm assuming it's ripe). I'd like to save seed from it (as thought it hasn't produced much, it's a pretty plant). Can anyone advise me on how to save seed from the fruit? Thanks.

let it ripen as much as you can, then squeeze out the middle bits, put it in a sieve and run water through it.
There'll be quite a few seeds even in just one.
