  • Runners with French....

    Hi all,

Planted my beans the other day and they seem to be doing very well - only thing is, I think I may have mixed up a few runners with my French!

Is this likely to cause me any problems such as cross pollination or will I be ok?

    Cheers!

Easy to tell apart too ( they ARE climbing French beans we're talking about here???)?

Only issue with cross pollination would be if you wanted to save the seed. The beans themselves will be as on the seed packet.

Runner beans and Frenchies are a different species so don't cross with each other - https://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/sit...unnerBeans.pdf

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
