 runner beans HELP!!!!!!!!!runner bean crisis i have grown my beans in pots and planted them out three weeks ago since i planted them out they have gradually gone a paler green until now they are nearly yellow but they are still growing up the poles strongly ! please help !!!! thanks a lot mike     :      |

| Hi Woodfettler - I'm no expert but I reckon your poor old runners are either suffering with the cool weather (haha!) or could do with a general feed - it'll soon perk them up!

| Definately the cool. Especially if they were not hardened off. They normally perk up...IF we return to summer ever.

| Mine did the same a few weeks ago, but once they settled in they improved. Now climbing and producing flowers. No blackfly (touch wood etc. I think the little b*****s may have drowned in the rain we've had) |
