  • Right Price Seeds

I went to Wilkinsons yesterday and the gardening stuff is back on sale. They have some "Right Price" seeds at 28p per packet. I got cylindrical beetroot and icicle radishes (needless to say I had to buy a lot of other seeds that weren't 28p!! I daren't look in the seed box just yet!

Just had a mosey round Wilkos. They have got their seeds out ranging from 28p per packet to 3 for £2.50 depending what you want. I just wanted some perlite but couldn't resist some cylidra beetroot for 28p for 150 seeds.( never heard of it but looks nice).

Good old Wilkos you can always count on them for tempting low cost gardening stuff.

28p is good, and I will certainly be having a look mid week when I am in town, but remember they are not the only ones selling good value seeds, just the first to get them in I suspect. Netto had seed for 19p last year and Lidl's were 29p if my memory serves me correct.

        Wilkinsons here I come :-)

Wilkies is the best shop in the world, ever! Lidl had some chap herb seeds last year for about 19p I think?

Hmm the most local wilkinsons to me dont seem to keep gardening stuff at this time of year, and also seem to be a few weeks behind the rest of the country - so I might have a mooch in Feb

I like the netto seeds but I find the germination rate on some of the wilkos seeds is a bit bad. No problem with netto seeds though, even parsnips

I looked in my local Wilkinsons the other day and they had one stand of seeds there (looks as if they are in the middle of setting the gardening section back up). Will be going back later in the week to have a look - I don't really need anything except onion sets and some seed potatoes but I'm bound to see something I can't resist

By the way, what/where is netto's? I've never heard of them - are they just up North?

I went into wikinsons today a got 3 packs of carrots for £1.50 and 3 packs of brocolli for £1.50 as well, I think that is a bargain compared to Brigg Garden Centre.

Blimey BM - Kidderminster is not too far away from where my stepmother lives but even so it's just too far to go to save a couple of pence on a packet of seeds

I will stick with my favourite Wilkinsons.

Lidl & Aldi also get their 4 for £1 seeds in around Feb, you could always pay stepmum a visit when the seeds come in.....
